Economical considerations would require aircraft to support various units.One relationship between coverage and detail would become evident.    Low resolution would result in greater coverage and high resolution would result in less coverage. For most applications, low resolution would suffice for most battlefield targeting, higher resolution would be used sparingly. The immediate impact would be that of detailed, timely information now available to the commander.
